Develop your Musicianship Building Blocks

Basics and Theory

Learn the anatomy and functionality of your instrument. Learn various aspects of music theory (music notation, note values and counting, time signatures, multiple scales and scale expression, etc.) appropriate for different levels.

Form and Technique

Develop proper form and handling with your instrument. Learn technical skills that will help you develop great musical dexterity.

Speed and Control

One should not exist without the other. Develop a strong foundation of control and good time awareness, and build on that foundation with good quality speed.

Musical Independence

Learn to manipulate your arms, hands, fingers, legs and feet independently to produce the sounds you want from your music.

Creativity and Musicality

Learn skills to help you express your thoughts on your instrument musically and intentionally (improvisational concepts, rhythmic manipulations, rudiment manipulations for drums, etc).

Aural Training

Train your ear to break down and identify elements of music simply by listening, and learn songs quicker and more accurately.
