Meet the Charles Brothers
A-Z Music was co-founded by Anton Charles and Zane Charles, two brothers from Saint Lucia with an undying passion for the arts.
Being born to an incredibly musical family, primarily a father who owned a music school and performed nationally in jazz and gospel genres, a love for music was ingrained from tender ages. They received initial music education from their father’s music school, as well as the Saint Lucia School of Music, and from there set off to develop their musical talents for themselves.
A-Z Music was born in 2010 simply as a means to make some money over the summer by teaching music to the youth of their community and home church.

Over the years, Anton and Zane continued to work at improving their craft and developing their professional musicianship. They have performed in numerous Caribbean countries (Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, Martinique, Barbados, Suriname, St. Vincent, etc.) for a variety of artistes and music groups, including international artistes such as VaShawn Mitchell, Alvin Slaughter, Shirley Caesar, Maurice Griffin, Roger Ryan, and Kevin Whalum. They are also active members of the Music Department of the University of the Southern Caribbean, where Anton is currently accomplishing his second Bachelor’s degree, this one in Music with an emphasis in Music Education, and Zane is a drum instructor in their academy.
Years of professional musicianship and teaching have allowed them to immensely improve the quality, structure, and value of their music classes, as well as build networks of talented and educated musicians and instructors. A-Z Music utilizes its expertise, experience, and networks to give our students a unique and tailored music education experience that truly meets their wants and needs.
